  • Speech therapists are also known as speech-language pathologists (SLPs). A master's degree is required to be an SLP. SLPs work across the lifespan from birth to the end of life and can be found in multiple settings such as private practice, preschools, hospitals, in the community, etc.

  • After many hours of research, I gained a great understanding of how speech therapy helps. I enjoyed learning about it so much that I decided that this was the career for me!
